Skusta Clee’s Facebook</div>NBA legend and 2011 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Derrick Rose is set to land in Cebu, known as the Queen City of the South, for &quot;Rose Meets the Queen: Derrick Rose in Cebu,&quot; a two-day event scheduled for August 26 at SM Seaside Cebu.As Cebuanos prepare for Rose&#x27;s highly anticipated arrival, this tour will also signify Rose&#x27;s third trip to the Philippines as an ambassador for ArenaPlus.The celebration will begin on August 25 with an exclusive Champion&#x27;s Circle Appreciation Dinner, in which select players will have the rare opportunity to meet and interact with the basketball icon in an intimate setting.On August 26, more Cebuano basketball fans and lifestyle influencers will be able to attend &quot;Rose Meets the Queen: Derrick Rose in Cebu&quot; at SM Seaside City.Activities will begin at 11 a.m., giving fans the opportunity to participate in basketball activities, giveaways, and entertainment throughout the day. Admission is free and open to guests aged 21 and older.Bringing Rose to Cebu is part of the brand&#x27;s larger push to expand major sports experiences and strengthen fan communities beyond Metro Manila.“Sports have always been about more than what happens on the court. They bring people together and give fans a community where they can share the moments that make the game special,” said Ethan William, head of ArenaPlus.“That’s why we want to bring experiences like this closer to fans across the country, not just in Metro Manila. Cebu has an incredible passion for basketball, and bringing Derrick here is one way for us to celebrate that community and give Cebuano fans an experience they can call their own.”The festivities will continue into the afternoon before popular Filipino artist Skusta Clee takes the stage for a performance that combines basketball, music, and fan experiences to cap off the two-day celebration.“Rose Meets the Queen” gives Cebu basketball fans the opportunity to greet the former NBA MVP and get up close and personal with one of the game&#x27;s most recognizable stars.
