Enrique Gil to start taping new Kapamilya series in March

<p>MANILA -- Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil is making his teleserye comeback and will start taping next year.</p><p>&quot;Actually co-produced namin ito with ABS-CBN, my concept kaya excited ako rito,&quot; Gil told ABS-CBN News in an interview on the sidelines of a media conference for his upcoming horror film &quot;Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital.&quot; </p><p>&quot;Gusto ko action siya, pero action-comedy, medyo may pagka-lightness. Kasi usually super bigat lagi ng mga action so I wanted it medyo siyempre may romcom involved, kailangan &#x27;yon sa TV eh, pero it&#x27;s kumbaga medyo Ryan Reynolds-ish na may lightness but there&#x27;s some mafia involved,&quot; Gil said.</p><p>According to Gil, they are going to shoot some scenes in Europe in March 2025.</p><p>Asked of who will be part of the series, Gil said: &quot;Mayroon na leading lady pero I don&#x27;t think kung pwede pa. Hindi ko pa nakakausap. Nagmi-meeting kasi sila, nagpo-promo kami. So hindi ko alam kung pwede nila sabihin but  as far as I know -- yes, may naka-lock in na for that. But we talked about it for a bit. Yeah, she is interested but she is there right now.&quot;</p><p>&quot;So who knows maybe next year.
