Anna Cerezo, ABS-CBN NewsMANILA -- After more than six decades of bringing numerous iconic roles to life on the big screen that cemented her legacy in the film industry, Vilma Santos-Recto says she still has even more to offer in her upcoming entry for the 50th Metro Manila Film Fest, “Uninvited.”</div>According to the Star for All Seasons, she will reveal yet another facet of her talent in the thriller as she takes on the character of Eva, a grieving mother seeking revenge.“When this was offered to me, age factor, I wanted a role na babagay sa akin. Also a role that will still challenge me. Ano pa character na ma-inspire ako to do it—perfect ito. Na-challenge ako doing this,” Vilma teased in an interview in Quezon City, Tuesday.“Something different, sa dami ng ginawa ko na pelikula, di ko pa nagagawa. But malaki factor dito is paano ako minotivate ng director ko — si Dan Villegas. First time ako nakaramdam ng director na hinahanapan ako ng bago — if I can offer something different. Not the usual. &#x27;Yun motivation binigay ni direk Dan. Para iba and maibigay ko a different Eva,” she said.&quot;Saka Project 8, tatlo ang director. Co-produced nila with Mentorque. Tatlo, si Dan, Antoinette at Irene. So tatlong direk tumitingin. &#x27;Yun challenge ko dito,” she added.The veteran actress revealed that the intensity of the scenes also caused her blood pressure to spike to 140/90.“Noong shinu-shoot namin ito, &#x27;yung BP ko umabot 140/90. Dahil sa scene. Wala sila choice but to pack. Ano pa ba challenge. I-pack up na sabi, sabi ko hindi po! Ayoko kasi sila gumastos pa. We had to pack up kasi 140/90 dahil sa eksena. Pero dahil God is good, nagawa naman na ulit.
