With decades of experience, few projects can still rattle veteran actors — yet Alessandra de Rossi’s “Everyone Knows Every Juan” did, with Gina Alajar, Edu Manzano, Ruby Ruiz, and Ronnie Lazaro admitting feeling nervous as they took on the challenge of filming it in a single, unbroken take.“&#x27;Yung kaba from 5,4,3,2,1, iba kaba namin. Grabe, waiting for our cue. Natakot ako,” Alajar recalled during the press conference held at Viva Cafe in Quezon City.“Ako, I felt very very challenged. Sobrang exciting sa akin &#x27;yung concept. Inisip ko. ‘Kaya ba namin?’ Noong una, kami ni Joel (Torre), dami naming hedging, parang palusot ganon. Ninenerbyos kami so dami naming suggestions on the side. But dahil very sure si direk with what she wants, nagtiwala. Tama naman. Nagawa namin,” Ruiz added.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1759275964659viber_image_2025-10-01_01-12-31-567.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div>Alajar said she felt the pressure of delivering every line perfectly in a single take, especially with their limited time to rehearse.“Fear ko memory is not that sharp anymore. I told Ronnie, &#x27;Paano &#x27;yan if magkamali uulit tayo?&#x27; Lahat kami senior, sana bigyan mo kami time. Let’s rehearse for one month, kahit sa Zoom. &#x27;Yun fear ko — but then hindi ganoon. Two days lang rehearsal,” she said.The cast revealed they were able to finish filming the movie, which they described as “ambitious,” in just a day — and with only three tries.“First time in my 40-plus years in the business, mas marami pang araw ang rehearsal kaysa sa actual shooting. It was ensemble acting. Ensemble kami, we were moving in one situation but lahat cognizant. Ang kanilang roles, in terms of dialogues... Kailangan din namin isa-ulo ang audioman, cameraman, para alam namin anggulo,” Manzano said.“This is going to be amazing because this is uncut. May isang portion lang,” Lazaro added. Also part of the cast are JM De Guzman, Kelvin Miranda, and Angeli Bayani.“Everyone Knows Every Juan” will hit cinemas nationwide on October 22.
