Redemption, reflection, and an emotional farewell marked the eighth episode of &quot;Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale&quot; which aired on Wednesday, October 1.  From the “DragCon Slaysia” challenge to the tribute to Jiggly Caliente, the queens’ reflections on their journeys, and the farewell of Filipino drag artist Khianna, the episode brimmed with heart and poignancy.Before diving into the maxi challenge, the queens competed in a creative brief that saw them striking a pose and photobombing some iconic Philippine tourist spots. It was Khianna who earned the win and a strategic advantage: the power to deduct one minute from a fellow queen&#x27;s presentation time in the upcoming challenge.  Host Paolo Ballesteros, fondly called Mama Pao, then announced the commencement of &quot;DragCon Slaysia&quot; challenge where the queens design and present a unique booth that showcases their drag persona, style, and merch potential. Meanwhile, on the runway, they showcased their &quot;RuBirth&quot; look.&quot;Rupaul&#x27;s Drag Race&quot; season 15 winner Sasha Colby and &quot;Drag Race Philippines&quot; season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole served as the queens&#x27; guests. <div> </div>Here&#x27;s how their booths went:  * Brigiding brought the viewers and guests into her world through a mock talk show experience. Her booth featured a sit-down interview, interactive segments like &quot;Stir the Wheel,&quot; and ending it with a merch giveaway and a breathtaking &quot;Alarma!&quot; moment.  * Showcasing her fashion prowess, Suki Doll leaned into her couture strengths. Her booth included personalized designs for Sasha and Precious. She also featured her whimsical &quot;Lasusu&quot; merchandise, evoking a Labubu-inspired aesthetic. * Viñas admitted to feeling nervous and pressured coming into the challenge. For Sasha and Precious, her presentation came across as rushed and occasionally aggressive, and felt the lack of her usual finesse. Viñas drew on references from her previous season and challenges such as the &quot;gravity inside the popcorn,&quot; her mananang-gay character, the blower effect, but struggled to tie everything cohesively.  * Arizona Brandy created the &quot;Arizona Brandy&#x27;s Speakeasy&quot; booth — a chill, orange-lit concept with a lounge vibe. She wowed the guests with her vape tricks and had good laughs shared with a glass of wine, while also emphasizing that more than a drink, she can also be a company of someone.  * With her chaotic yet &quot;i-Khiannic booth,&quot; Khianna offered a wild ride of fantasy. From a dance battle to mock chiropractic and acupuncture session, she leaned into physical comedy. Without any merch to show, she improvised with a stick that they used to share a good trip on bowls of street foods. However, the guests felt like her overall presentation was not well-curated for them to be enticed to come back.  During &quot;Untucked,&quot; the remaining queens took a moment to reflect on this week&#x27;s challenge and the critiques they received from the judges. There was a general sense of agreement among them regarding the feedback. As the finale draws closer, the stakes have never been higher, knowing that by the end of the episode, another queen would be leaving the race.  The conversation came to a halt with the surprise appearance of &quot;five minutes girl&quot;— Mama Remz — who had been noticeably absent in previous episodes since the season began. Her reappearance added a layer of fun to an already exhilarating episode.  On the main stage, Arizona and Suki both earned a RuBadge for their standout looks and booth presentations. In addition to the badge, they also shared the cash tip prize. Meanwhile, Brigiding was declared safe, leaving Viñas and Khianna as the bottom queens.  With their dreams on the line, the bottom queens faced off in a lip-sync battle to Calista&#x27;s &quot;Race Car.&quot; Sharing the stage with undeniable intensity, they delivered a performance that showcased their respective stage presence.    Viñas won the battle that led to the downfall of Khianna in the competition. When told to sashay away, she seemed to have lost words but eventually found the courage before leaving the stage and the werk room.  &quot;I promised you, guys, that this is not the end. What&#x27;s next for Khianna, I don&#x27;t know, what&#x27;s going on in my head... but there&#x27;s a bigger picture out there,&quot; she said.Coming into the competition, Khianna reintroduced herself with much presence after devouring the premiere episode, but since then, got a mixed leaderboard until her eventual elimination.
