'Meet, Greet & Bye' now highest-grossing Filipino movie of 2025

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17637892068041759729316933MGB POSTER.webp" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">&#x27;Meet, Greet &amp; Bye&#x27; official poster</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Star Cinema&#x27;s “Meet, Greet &amp; Bye” is now the highest-grossing Filipino movie of 2025 with over P175 million worldwide gross as of November 21. </p><p>The movie, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana and starring Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano and Juan Karlos Labajo, captured the hearts of audiences within and outside the Philippines with its heartwarming and beautiful portrayal of home, love, and sacrifice.</p><p>&quot;Meet, Greet &amp; Bye&quot; is still playing in 475 cinemas worldwide on its second weekend.</p><p>Since Nov. 12, the family movie has been screening in 475 cinemas across the globe, including in Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, United States, Canada, Guam, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Italy and France.</p><p>It will also be screened in Greece, Spain, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Brunei, Papua New Guinea and Cambodia.</p><p>&quot;Meet, Greet &amp; Bye&quot; follows the story of a K-drama fanatic mother who decided to stop receiving treatment for her cancer after losing hope of getting better.
