Jodi Sta Maria wraps up filming of ‘Edjop’: ‘This project was more than just a film’

She shared how giving life to the character of Joyette and filming the movie “was an experience like no other.”</p><p>“Filming <em>Edjop</em> was an experience like no other. This film pushed me in ways I didn’t expect — physically, emotionally, mentally,” she wrote.</p><p>Jodi admitted that the filming of the highly-anticipated movie was like a “rollercoaster” with the different emotions she felt. Despite this, she acknowledged that all of these emotions had a purpose that would help the film.</p><p>“There were moments — a lot of moments actually of physical exhaustion, deep reflection, and a laughter in between takes. Rollercoaster di ba? Proud and grateful to be part of this,” she ended.</p><p>Friends and fans of Jodi took to the comment section to congratulate her for finishing the filming safely. Some netizens expressed how excited they are for the film and the role of Jodi’s character.</p><p>“Can’t wait to watch this, ate! so proud of you. i love you and i miss you,” a fan wrote.</p><p>“I&#x27;m so proud of you po! Can&#x27;t wait to watch this film. This is something i look forward to,” another fan added.</p><p>Apart from Jodi, <em>Edjop</em> will also star Elijah Canlas and Cedric Juan, among others. The film will feature the life of Edgar Jopson, a Filipino activist who was killed in 1982 at the height of Martial Law.  </p>
