Her notable works include the critically acclaimed “My Mister,” and romance dramas like “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and “Hotel del Luna.”Meanwhile, Bo-gum has served as a leading man in series like “Reply 1988,” “Love in the Moonlight” and “Encounter,” winning over the hearts of audiences with his boy-next-door appeal.In a roundtable with select Southeast Asian press, the two admitted that the opportunity to work together was one of the reasons they chose to star in “Tangerines,” which premiered its first four episodes on Netflix on March 7.“The fact that I would work alongside Bo-gum, that also sealed the deal. I feel like [‘Tangerines’] is a very special love story because of that,” she told ABS-CBN News.“It’s also my first time as an actor to portray something like that so it made me really want to be a part of this project even more,” she said.In addition to working with IU, Bo-gum was also drawn to the project because “we could portray ‘all four seasons’ of Ae-sun and Gwan-sik’s lives.”“This is also a drama that I would be proud to watch with my family in the future.
