A live-action Scooby-Doo series is officially in the works and heading to Netflix.The upcoming series will feature a modern reimagining of the beloved franchise. According to Netflix, the story follows old friends Shaggy and Daphne as they reunite at summer camp and team up with a science-loving Velma and the charming but mysterious Fred &quot;to solve the mystery of a lonely lost Great Dane puppy — who may have witnessed a supernatural murder.&quot;The live-action adaptation will consist of eight episodes as per Tudum.Executive producers for the series include Scott Rosenberg and Josh Appelbaum, along with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Leigh London Redman of Berlanti Productions, as well as André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner of Midnight Radio.&quot;Mystery Inc. is back in business!
