Title and release date of Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man 4' announced

<p>The title for the fourth installment of Tom Holland&#x27;s <em>Spider-Man</em> has been unveiled.</p><p>According to a report by <em>Variety, </em>the movie will be called <em>Spider-Man: Brand New Day </em>and is set to be released on July 31, 2026, in theaters.</p><p>The title was announced at the CinemaCon on Monday, March 31 (US time) in Las Vegas, Nevada.</p><p>In a video featuring Tom which was played at the convention, the actor described the upcoming film as a &quot;fresh start.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive clip hanger at the end of <em>No Way Home</em>, so <em>Spider-Man: Brand New Day</em> is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say,&quot; he remarked.</p><p>&quot;That’s all I’ve been allowed to say. And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. Her role has yet to be confirmed.</p><p>Back in October last year, in an interview on the <em>Rich Roll Podcast</em>, Tom discussed the development process of the upcoming <em>Spider-Man</em> film.</p><p>&quot;One of the things is that, with Marvel, your film is a small cog in a large machine. That machine has got to keep running. You have to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture,&quot; he highlighted.</p><p>&quot;That’s one of the challenges we’re facing. The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the people we have working on it now.”</p><p>While acknowledging that the script still needs refinement, Tom expressed enthusiasm for what’s to come.</p><p>&quot;We have a creative and we have a pitch and a draft, which is excellent,” he stated. “It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job. I read it three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room like this is a real movie worthy of the fans&#x27; respect.&quot;</p>
