Marvel pushes back release dates of Avengers films 'Doomsday' and 'Secret Wars'

What did I tell you? That four-movie run was incredible, and it left us creatively spent,&quot; Joe Russo stated in an interview with Variety.</p><p>On what made them come back, Joe highlighted that the reason was <em>Avengers: Secret Wars</em> which he described as a &quot;very special story.&quot;</p><p>&quot;It’s the biggest story that Marvel comics ever told. It’s the reason that Anthony and I are standing up here,&quot; he stated.</p><p>The duo remarked that in order to lay the foundation for<em> Secret Wars, </em>a vital character like Doctor Doom is required.</p>
