For Sean Tristan, one of the lead stars of the recently released sports romantic dramedy series Love at First Spike, it was an “amazing ride” working with his co-stars.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better team and a better family,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.

The actor honored his fellow lead stars Emilio Daez and Reign Parani for walking with him through his filming journey.

Love at First Spike director Ivan Payawal’s brilliance in directing the highly anticipated series was also highlighted in Sean’s post.

“To my director, Direk @ivanpayawal — I will never get tired of telling you how in awe I am of you,” he said. “You are brilliant, and your mind works in the most fascinating way. You are the team captain I look up to. I’m so happy our paths crossed.”

The actor expressed his gratitude to the director for the trust and connection they built during the filming process.

“You trusted me with Jared, and you shared a part of yourself with me — for that, I will always be grateful,” he said. “They’ll never know how we can connect with just one look before braving through a scene together. I love you, Direk.”

In the same post, the actor shared that his portrayal of Jared Aragon had a profound impact on him.
