Prior to the incident, some audience members were already complaining after witnessing the aforementioned audience member recording videos.</p><p>According to the Philippine News Agency, recording movies in theaters, also known as &quot;camcording,&quot; is illegal and punishable under Republic Act 10088, also known as the &quot;Anti-Camcording Act of 2010.&quot; This law prohibits the unauthorized use, possession, or control of audiovisual recording devices for recording cinematographic films or other audiovisual works without authorization in an exhibition facility.</p><p>In addition, violators may face fines ranging from P50,000 to P750,000, as well as imprisonment for six months or six years. The law applies to the act of recording itself, regardless of whether the resulting content is distributed or utilized for personal gain.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1748995228808image2 (1).jpeg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"/></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>From &#x27;camcording&#x27; to slaying action scenes </strong></div><p>The stars of the film &quot;Beyond the Call of Duty,&quot; directed by Jose &quot;JR&quot; Olinares and produced by Stephanie and Chavit Singson, all performed career-defining action scenes.</p><p>In true Pinoy action fashion, the film included jaw-dropping stunts, gunshots, and brutal fights while preserving its heart. Martin del Rosario, Maxine Trinidad, Paolo Gumabao, Devon Seron, Mark Neumann, Luis Christian Singson, Martin Escudero, Dindo Arroyo, and Jeffrey Santos heightened the scenes&#x27; excitement.</p><p>Del Rosario and Gumabao offered such honest performances in the dramatic scenes while remaining true to their roles&#x27; masculinity.</p><p>Trinidad, a new Kapamilya actress, grasped her character well, giving the girl energy and hope while also demonstrating acting talent in the film. She stated as her tears started to pour, “May pag-asa dahil tayo ang pag-asa.&quot;</p><p>Neumann made his acting comeback as Carlo Salazar, the syndicate&#x27;s steady hand and most faithful blade. He managed chaos with a cool demeanor and a meticulous strategy. Neumann&#x27;s charm and magnetism have endured even after many years away from the entertainment industry.</p><p>Singson, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside veterans in the film.</p><p>“This project is a great opportunity for me as an artist. I&#x27;m very serious about acting. While I have no plans to make it my full-time profession, it is my passion. I&#x27;d also like to thank Coco Martin for casting me in the series &#x27;Ang Probinsyano,&#x27; which was a fantastic opportunity for me,” the young Singson said. </p><p>Finally, it would be incomplete without the presence of iconic action villains Santos and Arroyo. The two veteran actors nailed their roles, giving intense acting performances.</p><p>“It’s a collaboration naman talaga, ‘di ba? Hindi gaganda ang mga eksena kapag ang mga kasama mo sa loob ay hindi umaarte nang hindi maganda,” Santos pointed out.</p><p>&quot;Beyond the Call of Duty,&quot; directed by Jose &quot;JR&quot; Olinares, written by Eldrin Veloso, and produced by the Singson family and Pinoyflix, will be released in cinemas on September 3.</p>
