Ganiel Krishnan, ABS-CBN News</div>GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite -- The stars of ABS-CBN&#x27;s upcoming primetime series &quot;Sins of the Father&quot; gathered fans in full force as they held a grand motorcade and a mall show on Sunday in General Trias City, Cavite.Leading the cast were Gerald Anderson and Jessy Mendiola, who are both making a much-anticipated return to the spotlight after years away from the teleserye scene.&quot;Nakakatuwa kasi kahit medyo bad weather, nandito pa rin yung mga tao. Ang pakiusap sana namin, pati sa June 23, &#x27;wag nila kami iwan,&quot; Anderson said, referring to the series&#x27; official premiere date.Mendiola was equally overwhelmed by the warm reception, saying: &quot;Ang daming tao, grabe. Sobrang saya namin kasi makakasama natin ang mga favorite nating Kapamilya.
