<p>(UPDATED) &quot;Green Bones&quot; dominated the 8th Eddy Awards held Sunday night, winning Best Picture, Best Director for Zig Dulay, and major acting prizes including Best Actor for Dennis Trillo and Best Supporting Actor for Ruru Madrid. The gritty drama also won Best Cinematography, solidifying its position as the evening’s big winner.</p><p>Marian Rivera earned the Best Actress award for her performance in &quot;Balota,&quot; while Lorna Tolentino was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in the horror film &quot;Espantaho,&quot; which also took home the prize for Best Visual Effects. Aga Muhlach shared the Best Supporting Actor honors with Madrid for his performance in &quot;Uninvited.&quot;</p><p>Other major winners included My Future You, which picked up awards for &quot;Best Editing&quot; and Best Original Theme Song, and &quot;Under A Piaya Moon,&quot; which won Best Screenplay.</p><p>Meanwhile, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto received the coveted Box Office Hero award for their hit film “Un/happy For You,” marking a triumphant reunion of the beloved love team.
