<p>Known in the industry as the daughter of the late Regal Films matriarch Mother LIly Monteverde who passed away last year, Roselle Monteverde said she hopes to continue her mother’s legacy as the CEO of Regal Entertainment along with her son Keith. When we produce <em>Shake, Ratlle, &amp; Roll</em>, it’s really for Christmas. Ganun naman ang naging tradition. Yung last Shake namin was in 2023. It can be considered as one of Regal Films’ most successful projects. Roselle admitted that she and their team work extra hard to level up the audience’s experience which each new SRR that they produce.</p><p>“Ang dami naming bini-brainstorm. Kasi definitely, we always need to level up. It’s the current audience also, the expectations are kind of high. So it’s really a big challenge and we want to assure that we are going to satisfy everyone’s expectations,” she added. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/8/29/ivana-alawi-stars-in-her-first-mmff-horror-film-i-m-a-huge-fan-of-shake-rattle-roll-1619"><strong><u>READ: Ivana Alawi stars in her first MMFF horror film: ‘I’m a huge fan of Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll!&#x27;</u></strong></a></div><p>In <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll Evil Origins</em>, Roselle shared that the casts of the three episodes will include some well-loved stars that have been part of the horror trilogy throughout the years, as well some fresh, new, faces, that will make their SRR debut this year. </p><p>“Kasi ang ganda talaga. Like in our first episode here in <em>Evil Origins,</em> nandiyan naman yung originals like Janice De Belen with Almira Muhlach, who were both in the first <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll</em>. Manilyn Reynes naman has also been in a lot of <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll </em>episodes already. So ang dami talagang pinag-isipan not just sa storyline and even sa casting. Talagang sinadya namin to put together the new generation of fans and the fans of Shake before, na mapagsama talaga sila. May ganun talagang intention,” she revealed. </p><p>Even though their film company is known to produce other genres of movies like romance and drama, Roselle said this genre is the one closes to her heart as a self-confessed longtime horror fan.</p><p>“Of course. I’m a super, super fan of horror films. Since I was a kid. Sobrang fan. Kaya for the fans of mga horror movies, for me to be a fan talaga, ang taas rin talaga ng expectations ko. (My favorite horror film), siyempre <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll,</em> because I grew up with it. And sa international horror films naman, it’s <em>The Conjuring</em>,” she added. </p>
