Song Kang to star in music-themed K-Drama

<p>Song Kang is set to headline a new K-drama titled <em>Four Hands.</em></p><p>According to a report by My Daily, as translated by Soompi, the actor will star in the upcoming music-themed series which follows young musicians who meet at an arts high school, exploring friendship, romance, rivalry, and growth as they transition from adolescence to professional pianists.</p><p>Kang will play Kang Bi Oh, a gifted pianist known for his polished image, top grades, and flawless technique. Driven by both natural talent and relentless discipline, he is seen as a future global star until an unexpected rival arrives and turns his musical world upside down.</p><p>The actor will star in the K-Drama alongside Lee Jun-young and Jang Gyuri.</p><p>Jun-young will play the role of Choi Jeong Yo, a piano prodigy and Kang Bi Oh&#x27;s rival who has long denied his own talent due to a difficult past. Meanwhile, Gyuri will portray Hong Jae In, a viola major with extraordinarily sensitive hearing and sharp musical instincts. This is gonna be such a wonderful  memory that I will be taking home with me,&quot; he said during the event.</p><p>Kang added that the fan meeting with his fans in the Philippines inspired him even more to work harder.</p><p>&quot;I enjoyed this time with you so much and I will be going home to work even harder and I will come back to see you. Until then please be happy and healthy. Thank you for this amazing night,&quot; he stated.</p><p>In an interview with the Philippine media prior to his fan meeting, Kang expressed his excitement to be in the country for the first time to meet his Filipino supporters.</p><p>&quot;I feel like I have been receiving so much love but I haven&#x27;t been able to give back just because of the situation lately. I have not able to come and to see the Filipino fans. So to finally be here and to be able to do that, I am very happy, a little nervous, but very much looking forward to it,&quot; he said at the press conference.</p><p>Kang enlisted in Korea&#x27;s mandatory military service on April 2, 2024 and was discharged on October 1, 2025.</p>
