MANILA -- The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie “Call Me Mother” has officially grossed P392 million worldwide as of February 5. The announcment was shared with guests during the thanksgiving dinner attended by the cast led by Vice Ganda, Nadine Lustre, and director Jun Robles Lana. Also in attendance were award-winning child actor Lucas Andalio, PBB Collab ex-housemates Brent Manalo, River Joseph, Shuvee Etrata and Mika Salamanca. Comedian Iyah Mina, veteran actors Carmi Martin, Ces Quesada, Chanda Romero, Jennifer Sevilla and Robert Ortega were also there.Executives from ABS-CBN Films and ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Films managing director Kriz Gazmen, The ideaFirst company president Perci Intalan, Viva Communications Inc. president and COO Vincent del Rosario were all there to congratulate the whole production and cast for a successful run of the comedy-drama movie during the festival.Vice congratulated the whole team and made mention how director Lana accepted, embraced and loved her since their tandem begin with the &#x27;And the breadwinner is...&#x27; last year.&quot;Eto na (Lana) yung hinahanap namin talaga, yung hindi ako tatrabahuhin lang, hindi ako trabaho lang. Yung mahal mo ko, gusto mo ko nang totoo, yung aalagaan mo ko, aalalayan mo ko, yung hindi mo ko papabayaang mapahamak at yung pelikula ko.&quot;Vice added, &quot;At ang sarap sarap nung sinabi mo sa presscon na, &#x27;tanggap ko naman na nakatali na kami ni Vice sa isa&#x27;t isa. Ang saya saya ko nun!&quot;Vice has been a staple in the yearly festival and her movies have grossed immensely. But working with Lana, brought Vice some new experiences.&quot;First time kong nag-Best Actor. Salamat, sa edad kong &#x27;to, sa tagal kong &#x27;to na gumagawa ng pelikula, naparanasan mo ko ng isang bagong-bagong na masarap na pangyayari sa buhay ko!&quot;  she said.During Lana&#x27;s speech, he mentioned that we&#x27;re just beginning to see what Vice can offer in the movies.&quot;From the very beginning, hindi lang dahil sa fan ako, &#x27;cause I&#x27;ve always seen the potential of Meme at maraming-marami pa siyang pwedeng gawin. This is really just the beginning&quot; said Lana.In an earlier interview with ABS-CBN News, Lana and Vice Ganda have shared their interest to work with each other again for another film.
