<p>The powerhouse pairing of IU and Byeon Woo-seok finally arrived on screens as the highly anticipated Korean series <em>Perfect Crown</em> premiered Friday night, April 10, on Disney+ Philippines. </p><p>During a special screening held earlier this week, several celebrities expressed their excitement over the series and its lead stars. For one, Kapamilya actress Vivoree Esclito praised the drama for its mix of depth and romance, noting how the pilot episode quickly drew her in. </p><p>She said, “Sobrang interesting niya kasi the first few minutes of the series, talagang I was very focused kasi there was a lot of information that I had to digest because I didn’t really know about the royal family in Korea. Byeon Woo-seok, IU – crazy combo. Their chemistry in the trailer was incredible so I can’t wait to see how this is going to pan out. We just saw the first episode, and there’s so many more episodes coming, it’s going to be crazy so catch it, guys,” he said. </p><p>Another Kapamilya celebrity, Kaori Oinuma, said she is excited to watch the series as a longtime fan of IU. “Super [excited]. It follows Grand Prince I-AN, a well-loved royal who agrees to a marriage of convenience with Huiju, a wealthy heiress, due to pressure to settle down. What starts as a practical arrangement becomes more complicated as real feelings begin to develop between them. New episodes air every Friday and Saturday at 10:20 p.m., leading up to the series finale on May 16. </p>
