Selena Gomez to make directorial debut in final season of 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place'

<p>Selena Gomez is set to make her directorial debut in the third and final season of <em>Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.</em></p><p>According to a press release from The Walt Disney Company, the actress-singer, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, will direct the first episode of the upcoming season. </p><p>Selena will also appear in multiple episodes.</p><p>The four-episode final season will follow &quot;Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) — still reeling from losing Alex (Selena) at the end of Season 2 — discovers that the only way to rescue her mother is to reunite with her long-lost father.
