Roño and written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee. The film followed two couples whose lives became intertwined through friendship, grief, betrayal, and redemption. </p><p>Dave (Gabby Concepcion) and Alex (Matt Ranillo III) were best friends and colleagues at work. Their wives, Terry and Monique (Zsa Zsa Padilla), also shared a close friendship despite living very different lives. </p><p>Terry was a simple housewife who constantly struggled with feelings of insecurity and frustration over her marriage with Dave. On the other hand, Monique is a successful television host living a happy marriage with Alex. Their lives drastically changed when Alex was suddenly killed in a shooting incident.
