<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17791700494325.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Horror fans and aspiring storytellers now have the chance to bring their chilling tales to life as ABS-CBN and CreaZion Studios officially open submissions for the upcoming six-episode iWant<em> </em>horror anthology, <em>True Manila Encounters.  </em></p><p>Filipinos’ fascination with horror stories continues to thrive in the digital age, with supernatural tales finding a massive audience across social media platforms. </p><p>Tapping into this enduring love for all things eerie and mysterious, submissions for <em>True Manila Encounters</em><em></em>, a new horror anthology inspired by the viral “Manila Encounters” trend on X (formerly Twitter), are now officially open. </p><p>“Manila Encounters” first captured the attention of netizens through eerie and supernatural stories shared online before eventually making their way to Wattpad, where readers became hooked on stories centered on Filipino myths, legends, and unexplained encounters. </p><p>Now, aspiring writers and horror enthusiasts are being invited to share their own frightening stories for a chance to see them adapted on screen. The search for chilling encounters also extends beyond Manila as stories and haunting encounters across all the regions in the country are welcome. </p><p>The anthology is currently searching for original horror stories rooted in true experiences and encounters with ghosts, urban legends, local myths, folklore, unexplained events, and more. Submissions may feature accounts involving supernatural beings such as Aswangs, Kapres, Diwatas, among others, as well as chilling stories tied to real-life experiences of haunting incidents.  </p><p>All submitted stories will first undergo an internal review. Entries that make up the shortlist will then be contacted by ABS-CBN before being posted on the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/">ABS-CBN website</a> for public voting.
