Lito De Guzman, the seasoned film producer behind some of the most controversial VMX films, went on a rant on Monday night in Quezon City as he discussed his latest movie &quot;Desperada.&quot;According to De Guzman, he experienced “kamalasan” throughout the filming of the Yasser Mata-Robb Guinto movie, which opens in cinemas on May 27.“Maraming pinagdaanan ang pelikulang ‘yan. May mga hindi kami pinagkasunduan. Dapat nga maging thankful siya kasi nakasama niya sina Yasser at Robb,” he alleged.“Marami pang kamalasang nangyari. Ang magaling na aktres na si Sue Prado na part ng pelikula ay namatay pa. Nakakalungkot,” he added.De Guzman, who has been a film producer for many years, also disclosed that this was the first time he thought his savings would run out.“Parang mauubos ang savings ko. Hindi alam ng mga tao na mahirap mag-produce ng pelikula ngayon. Siguro dahil din sa bad energy nung two locations namin. ‘Yung isa ay sementeryo,” he claimed.Despite the problems, De Guzman is optimistic that viewers will support his film while thanking the cast and crew.“Tuloy lang. Ganoon naman talaga kapag producer ka. Sugal ‘yan. Hindi mo alam kung saan dadalhin ang pelikula mo. Ang mahalaga ay marami akong natutunan,” he shared.“Sana ay panoorin ng mga tao. Magaling dito sina Robb at Yasser.
