Me and Milly had a whole competition about who had the best trainers on. I loved Milly from the second I met her.&quot;She was referring to Milly Alcock, who stars as Kara, the titular Supergirl.In the film, both Kara and Ruthye are driven by the loss of people they dearly loved.<div>RELATABLE THEMES</div>In an interview, Alcock said audiences would be able to resonate with the film&#x27;s themes.&quot;We live in an age that gives the illusion of connection, but it&#x27;s actually just to commodify our insecurities. Kara needs to find this inner acceptance in, in being herself and actually just belonging in her own skin, that I think is really, really relevant,&quot; she said.Jason Momoa also joins the cast as the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo.After gaining worldwide recognition as Aquaman, Momoa shared what it meant to him to finally bring another dream role to life.&quot;I don’t have too many moments like that. You&#x27;re gonna look in the mirror, and you&#x27;re gonna be something that you read when you were a kid. Then you just play and be that character. Unapologetically just be raw and wild. It feels great,&quot; he said.&quot;Supergirl&quot; will also feature the return of Superman along with loyal canine companion Krypto the Superdog.
