Anne Hathaway shares update on 'The Princess Diaries 3' script

<p>Anne Hathaway shared an update on the highly anticipated third installment of<em> The Princess Diaries.</em></p><p>During an interview on SiriusXM, the actress said that there is no definite timeline yet for when production on the movie will begin.</p><p>&quot;I am busy making baby number three and that has sort of taking the place of knowing when I can exactly make <em>Princess Diaries 3</em>,&quot; she shared.</p><p>Anne announced in June that she and her husband, Adam Shulman, are expecting their third child.</p><p>Despite the absence of a fixed production schedule, Anne said the team had made significant progress on the script.</p><p>&quot;But I can say I think we had a story breakthrough. I think that we are moving in the right direction,&quot; she relayed.</p><p>Anne also revealed that the creative team had decided to start over with a new direction for the screenplay.</p><p>&quot;The script we were working on, we kinda had a start over with this new direction, which is not the update I think anybody wants. There&#x27;s no way that cannot happen. It has to happen,&quot; she revealed. &quot;I just feel like I have to say this.
