<p>Currently starring opposite Kathryn Bernardo and Maja Salvador in the new Dreamscape series <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/someone-someday"><em><strong>Someone, Someday,</strong></em></a> James Reid is definitely diving right back into his acting roots after an almost decade-long hiatus from doing teleseryes. The 33-year-old actor and singer-songwriter was recently revealed as part of the star-studded cast of Regal Entertainment’s 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival official entry <em>Haunted Carnival, </em>something he is looking forward to working on this year. </p><p>During the <em>Haunted Carnival</em> official cast announcement event held last July 26, James apologized to the press via a video for not being present because he was out of the country. He also expressed his excitement about being part of a horror film for the first time in his entire career. </p><p>“I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there in person. I’m currently in Sydney. But I’d just like to talk a little about this project,<em> Haunted Carnival</em>. I love his work so far so I’m very excited for that. Also about the cast. I was very excited to hear about the cast that was going to be in the project.
