<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1785209766302JUST JAVIER poster.jpg" style="width:655px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA -- The Spanish documentary &quot;Just Javier,&quot; which chronicles the life of missionary Javier Sartorius Milans del Bosch, will open exclusively in select Ayala Malls Cinemas across the Philippines on August 12.</p><p>Directed by Josepmaria Anglès and produced by Adauge, the film follows Sartorius Milans del Bosch, a member of one of Spain&#x27;s aristocratic families who gave up a promising future in sports and business to pursue a life of missionary work and faith.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:655px;display:block" width="655"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1785209785320Still from JUST JAVIER - 1.jpg" style="width:655px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="655"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"><em style="text-align:left">Ha</em><em style="text-align:left">ndout</em></span></span></span></div><p>The documentary traces his journey from a successful athlete and business student in the United States to a spiritual awakening after volunteering with the homeless community in Los Angeles. His search for meaning eventually led him to missionary work in Cusco, Peru, where he embraced a life of prayer and service.</p><p>It premiered in Spain on September 12, 2025, where it drew more than 23,000 moviegoers and remained in cinemas for more than a month. It was later released in nearly 10 Spanish-speaking countries before its Philippine rollout.</p><p>&quot;Just Javier&quot; explores universal questions about purpose, fulfillment, sacrifice, and the courage to pursue one&#x27;s true calling. It also invites audiences to reflect on what it means to live authentically and discover a joy that transcends worldly success.</p><p>Beginning Aug. 12, the documentary will screen at Ayala Malls Cinemas in Greenbelt, Glorietta and Circuit in Makati; Feliz in Pasig; TriNoma and UP Town Center in Quezon City; Manila Bay in Parañaque; Bonifacio High Street in Taguig; Central Bloc in Cebu; Centrio in Cagayan de Oro; and Capitol Central in Bacolod.</p>
