Anna Cerezo, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA -- &quot;Quezon&quot; was recognized as Best Picture at the 9th Entertainment Editor&#x27;s Choice Awards, or Eddys, on Sunday.Lead actor Jericho Rosales also bagged the Best Actor trophy, while Jerrold Tarog won the title for Best Director. It also scored the trophies for Best Screenplay and Best Production Design.Rosales said afterward that he felt &quot;vindicated&quot; by the recognition.&quot;Lagi naman ako masaya lang eh. Pumupunta ako lagi sa mga ganitong awards night para magpasalamat,&quot; he said. &quot;For you guys to give us this recognition. It means so much to us.  Wala ako sama ng loob sa kung ano ang nangyari. We are just doing our job. Nag artista ako dahil sa inyo,&quot; he said in his acceptance speech.  Maris Racal, meanwhile, took home the Best Actress award for her performance in &quot;Sunshine.&quot; &quot;Sunshine is a girl who had so much promise, who had big, big, dreams, who had such a bright future—pero nadapa, nagkamali. This feels so familiar to me. I know the feeling of losing everything. Matatanong mo sa sarili mo if titigil mo na lang ba. Burado na ba sarili mo—pero hindi. Sa story ni Sunshine pinili niya mabuhay mga pangarap niya. This award is for all the Sunshines in this world. Sa lahat ng mga kababaihan, sa karapatan natin piliin sarili natin. Sa lahat ng nadapa, bangon lang,&quot; Racal said in her acceptance speech.Best Supporting Actress went to Rochelle Pangilinan for &quot;Child No. 82,&quot; while Will Ashley and Rico Blanco tied for Best Supporting Actor. &quot;I&#x27;m very happy for him. I am genuinely happy for him,&quot; Racal, Blanco&#x27;s ex, said. Several Kapamilya stars were also honored with special awards.
