KATSEYE to release 'KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS' documentary in theaters ahead of new EP

<p>Ahead of the release of their new extended play (EP),<em> WILD</em>, KATSEYE is set to bring fans to the big screen with their upcoming documentary film, <em>KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS.</em></p><p>The global girl group announced the project on Wednesday, July 9 (Philippine time).</p><p>&quot;EYEKONS, this is our love letter to you 🖤 <em>KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS</em> is coming to the big screen!! As we count down to our new EP <em>WILD</em> (out August 14!!) we can’t wait to share these never-before-seen moments with you 🥹,&quot; the group posted.</p><p>The film will have limited screenings worldwide beginning August 12, with tickets going on sale on July 15.</p><div><br/></div><div class="iframely-embed"><div class="iframely-responsive" style="height:140px;padding-bottom:0"><iframe allowfullscreen="" allow="autoplay *; encrypted-media *; ch-prefers-color-scheme *" src="https://iframely.net/GFhSGALe?theme=light&amp;v=1&amp;app=1" style="box-shadow:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.06) 0px 1px 3px"></iframe></div></div><script async="" src="https://iframely.net/embed.js"></script><div><br/></div><p>In a recent interview with <em>Allure</em>, the members opened up about what fans can expect from their upcoming EP.</p><p>&quot;With every release that we put out, the more authentic and raw it gets to us,&quot; member Megan said.</p><p>The group also reflected on K-pop&#x27;s influence on their identity and music.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;d say our music is not K-pop, but it is heavily inspired by it,&quot; Daniela highlighted.</p><p>KATSEYE recently released their latest single, &quot;Pinky Up,&quot; and made their Coachella debut on April 10 (U.S. time).</p><p>The group debuted in June 2024 with their first single, &quot;Debut,&quot; before breaking through with &quot;Touch,&quot; released the following month.</p><p>In August 2024, KATSEYE released their debut EP, <em>SIS (Soft Is Strong),</em> and embarked on an Asia tour with stops in South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. They followed it with their sophomore EP, <em>Beautiful Chaos</em>, in June 2025.</p><p>The group&#x27;s rapid rise has also earned them nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for &quot;Gabriela&quot; at the 2026 Grammy Awards.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/4/16/katseye-to-release-new-ep-wild-in-august-1841" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>KATSEYE to release new EP &#x27;Wild&#x27; in August</strong></a></div><p>In an interview with B96 Chicago at the 2025 Lollapalooza festival, KATSEYE reflected on how their music and identity have evolved since their debut.</p><p>Lara shared that the group&#x27;s sound has become bolder as they grew more confident in who they are as a team.</p><p>&quot;I feel like our music now is like it&#x27;s a little bolder &#x27;cause I think through the years, especially like the first year during the <em>SIS (Soft Is Strong) </em>era, we were finding our identity as a group and like learning who we are as a collective and as one. And I think for <em>Beautiful Chaos</em> we kind of have a better understanding of that, like the unity we have together,&quot; she stated.</p>
