Very, very proud,&quot; she added.Soberano, meanwhile, said she was thrilled to finally bring the film to Filipino audiences.&quot;I&#x27;m super excited to be sharing this film with the Philippines finally because, as Joel and Januel have always put it, this is our love letter to the Philippines, our motherland,&quot; Soberano said.&quot;We&#x27;re so, so proud of this film, and we hope that you guys will support it and feel proud to be Filipino as well,&quot; she added.The actress also revealed that &quot;Forgotten Island&quot; holds a particularly sentimental place in her heart because she auditioned for the project at a pivotal point in her life and career.Soberano recalled that she was in the middle of moving from Manila to Los Angeles when she first auditioned for the role, a major transition that required her to leave behind what was familiar and take a chance on a new chapter.&quot;That took obviously a lot of courage and bravery for me to step outside of my comfort zone,&quot; she said.Her involvement in the film comes as Soberano continues to pursue opportunities internationally while maintaining her connection to the Philippines.
