<p>Pinay drag artist M1ss Jade So earns her third badge and cements her status as one of the frontrunners of the inaugural “Drag Race Down Under vs the World.”</p><p>Jade earned another badge alongside UK queen Michael Marouli following the “House of Whores: A Trilogy of Terror” acting challenge and the “Shock and Awe” runway presentation.</p><p>For the runway, the Pinay queen went all out with an otherworldly, alien-inspired ensemble, complete with a two-faced prosthetic head and appendages seemingly bursting from her body.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1788068993023Media (1).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960" alt="M1ss Jade So&#x27;s &#x27;Shock &amp; Awe&#x27; runway look. Main judge and host Michelle Visage described Jade’s look as “bonkers” and “just nuts.”</p><p>Visage admitted that she had been worried about Jade earlier in the challenge, but ultimately praised the queen for her funny and committed approach to the character.</p><p>The performances and runway presentations eventually placed Jade and Michael among the top two queens of the week, earning each of them another badge.</p><p>However, Michael came out on top in the lip-synch battle to United Kingdoll’s “UK, Hun?” giving the UK queen the power to eliminate one of the bottom queens.</p><p>She sent home third hometown representative Flor, bringing the competition down to five queens heading into the semifinals.</p><p>Jade and Michael now sit at three badges each, tying hometown bet Art Simone for the most badges in the competition. Other queens remaining are American queen Lala Ri and hometown bet Vybe. </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Behind Jade’s ‘Shock and Awe’ look</strong></div><p>Following the episode’s airing, Jade gave fans a closer look at the original version of her “Shock and Awe” runway presentation via social media.</p><p>The Pinay queen revealed that the outfit was too heavy and oversized for the luggage limit, prompting the team to remove its giant legs and butt using a saw.</p><p>Jade, then, revealed that the designer had already built the removed pieces, teasing an upcoming photoshoot featuring the complete look.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fm1ssjadeso%2Fposts%2Fpfbid029TdjCxnEoruXLLbuYWGFybw964eWvT5LMyoAsNYJ3YNtN4ZdggvKANK3FPKun4Brl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="752" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><br/></div><p>The moment adds to Jade’s string of strong performances in the challenges and runway presentations.</p><p>She has consistently landed in the top in recent weeks, beginning with her first badge during the opening design challenge, where she created a look using a metallic red Lycra.</p><p>She followed it with a second victory in the “Franken-Drag” challenge.</p><p>Now, just a few steps away from the finale, Jade will face the semifinals next week, where the queens will take on the makeover challenge. </p><p>Jade is the latest “Drag Race Philippines” alum to compete in a “vs the World” competition.</p><p>She follows fellow Pinay queens Marina Summer, Eva Le Queen, and Minty Fresh, as well as “Slaysian Royale” competitors Arizona Brandy, Brigiding, Bernie, Khianna, Vinas DeLuxe.</p><p>“Drag Race Down Under vs the World” is the franchise’s inaugural competition. The winner will receive a crown and scepter, a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, and AU$50,000.</p>
