<p>OPM singer-songwriter Maki recently wrapped up his first solo shows last November at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. In an interview, Maki opened up about how he felt about staging his two-day, sold-out show.</p><p>“Alam niyo hindi ko alam kung paano ko malalagay sa isang sentence yung paghahanda namin kasi sobrang dami naming ginawa from the set, from the journey ng songs, yung flow. Sobra akong happy kasi the moment na lumabas yung tickets after two hours nagsold out agad siya. Pwede ba gawin nating homey? Parang nag-isip ako na like literal na parang bahay and talagang natupad siya. I’m really glad kasi talagang naging at ease ako and also kumbaga yung stage na ito parang naging open ground, naging malaking version ng bahay ko na kasama yung mga fans ko. I’m really glad na I’m not alone sa mga sinusulat ko,” he shared.</p><p>“It’s about time na we release ourselves to our the best version. Hindi kasi magkakaroon ng best version kung di ka magrereal,” he said.</p><p>Beyond his music, Maki also wants to share his “principles, values, and mindset” with his fans.</p><p>“I just really want to be that kind of artists na I don’t just sing, gusto ko lang magmessage ng message, statement when it comes to my music.
