The Juans planning new album, tour in 2025

<p>MANILA –  Expect “big things” this 2025 from Filipino band The Juans.</p><p>“We’re working on a full album that we’re really excited for people to hear,” said Carl Guevarra, lead vocalist and keyboardist, though a press release. </p><p>“It’s got that familiar hugot that everyone loves pero this time, we’re also exploring new themes”, he added.</p><p>According to RJ Cruz, the band’s acoustic guitarist, they are adding more fun and color to their music. </p><p>“Each member is stepping up to take a bigger role in shaping the band’s sound this time. Photo: Handout</em></span></span></span></div><p>Aside from an album, The Juans are also planning a tour across the Philippines and abroad.</p><p>“We’re looking forward to connecting with Juanistas again. … It’s going to be a year of growth for us and our fans”, Guevarra said.</p><p>Over the year, the band has fine-tuned their sound, and lead guitarist Japs Mendoza credits their live shows for that. “Iba talaga ang energy ng crowd,” Mendoza explained. </p><p>He added: “We love testing new songs in our live shows and seeing how people react. If we’re excited, they’re excited.
