<p>BTS leader RM admitted that the thought of disbanding the group has crossed his mind countless times, even as the global K-Pop group prepares for a major comeback in 2026. During a Weverse live broadcast on December 6, RM, also known as Kim Nam-Joon, spoke openly about the pressures, uncertainties, and hopes behind BTS’ long-awaited comeback.  </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1765159744227G7fEUVbacAA7Wgb.jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Early in the livestream, he acknowledged that he would be cautious about what he says, hinting that not everything can be fully revealed. As he discussed plans for their reunion, RM shared, “Many people ask, ‘Why did you waste the second half of 2025?’ or ‘Why didn’t you do anything?’ I also wanted to pursue various activities after being discharged, but there were circumstances I can’t talk about. Since last month, I haven’t even been able to sleep. I was thinking about whether I should get a prescription for sleeping pills.” </p><p>It was back in July when BTS announced that they would release a new album and launch a new world tour in the spring of 2026. They are set to return as seven next year after all members — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — have completed their mandatory military service this year.  </p><p>According to RM, their comeback album is already done, and they are continuously practicing to give fans their best performance. Despite being global superstars, RM revealed that each member is worried about what’s ahead, saying: “Everyone’s worried though. ‘How should we move forward?’ Of course, things have changed for us. We&#x27;ve changed and so have you. The members have grown and changed, he said, and each one now moves with their own direction. “I can’t represent the whole team anymore, I’m just one person with my own thoughts. Each member has their own way, so things like ‘fix this member’ or ‘tell the company’ don’t apply now.” </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1765159718610images.jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>He offered sincere apologies for the lengthy hiatus, asking for patience as they work to deliver something worthy of the fans’ wait. “I’m truly sorry for making you wait so long. But we have our reasons, and we can’t come back easily until we can present something you’ll be satisfied with. Considering the scale and all the circumstances involved, this may sound like an excuse, but I ask for your understanding. We will return. There may be times when it’s not exactly what you hoped for, but I will do my best.” </p><p>RM ended the livestream by reaffirming his devotion to ARMY worldwide. </p><p>“I love you all. I hope you really know that. Even if that love doesn’t come back to me in the same way, I’ll keep loving you in my own way,” he assured.  </p>
