December Avenue bassist Don Gregorio leaves band to focus on his family

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1744606883810New Project.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner"><em>December Avenue/Facebook </em></span></span></span></div><p>December Avenue has announced the departure of its bassist, Don Gregorio, as he focuses on his family. </p><p>On Facebook, the band shared a statement from Gregorio, who admitted that it was not an easy decision to make.</p><p>&quot;After 17 years of being the bassist of December Avenue, I&#x27;ve decided to step away from the band to focus on my growing family,&quot; he said. &quot;It wasn&#x27;t an easy decision, but I know it&#x27;s time for me to be fully present for my wife and our kids.&quot;</p><p>Gregorio said he is thankful to all those who have been part of December Avenue&#x27;s journey, adding that he will always treasure his memories with the band and their fans. </p><p>He hopes that the public will continue to support December Avenue despite his departure: &quot;Suportahan niyo pa rin ang December Avenue. They&#x27;re not just my band--they&#x27;re my brothers. And they&#x27;ve still got more to share with all of you.&quot;</p><p>For its part, December Avenue expressed its support for Gregorio, who is also one of the founding members of the band. </p><p>&quot;While it&#x27;s tough to imagine playing without him beside us, we fully support and respect his decision to put his family first.
