<p>Young Filipino singer-songwriter MRLD, whose real name is Meriel de Jesus, successfully held her first solo concert titled 7th Sense on Sunday, April 27 at the Skydome at SM North EDSA, Quezon City.</p><div> </div><p>In an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, MRLD shared her excitement and nervousness before the show.</p><div> </div><p>”Sobrang excited. Siyempre ramdam yung kaba pero excited pa rin and it’s a good thing,” she expressed.</p><div><strong> </strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1746022740879rhyt.JPG" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><p>The concert featured a fresh arrangement of her previously released singles as well as tracks from her debut album<em>, 7th Sense</em>. Opening the night were OPM acts Healy After Dark and girl group G22. MRLD was also joined onstage by fellow artists Ryannah J and Adie for special collaborative performances.</p><div> </div><p>“I’m so grateful kasi they are not just my friends but also big, huge artists sa industry. Exciting ang mga collab (namin),” she said.</p><div> </div><p>The young artist also expressed gratitude to her fans both in the Philippines and abroad.</p><div> </div><p>“We’ve made it far! Hindi ko lang ito success, kung hindi success natin ito. Sa mga future achievements pa, of course kasama ko kayo doon. To my Indonesian fans, thank you so much. And one night, when everyone else was asleep, I opened my phone and hit record and sang from my heart,” she said in a voice over. “(It’s) just me singing covers in my room wondering… I just kept singing.”</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1746022771019IMG_2558.JPG" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><p>“Now I&#x27;m here, sharing a piece of something that I couldn&#x27;t explain until I wrote it down and sing it out. This is that part of me, the indescribable emotions we all carry the kind that you&#x27;ve probably feel too. This is 7th Sense,” she said.</p><div> </div><p>She first performed songs from her debut album such as “M.I.N.O.Y.,” “Malayo,” and “Lihim.” </p><div> </div><p>Welcoming her fans, whom she affectionately calls wrld, she said, “Thank you so much! This is my first concert. Kaya sa mga nangangarap na kumakanta, na nagsusulat dyan, nothing is impossible. Hanggang ngayon sinasamahan niyo pa rin ako sa kung ano mang ito. Sana naman kasam ko pa rin kayo hanggang sa dulo ng ‘Ligaya,’” she stated. </p><div> </div>
