Parang ‘yung transition niya, medyo nahihirapan kami, kasi siyempre, mas gusto ng tao, or mas nakilala na ng tao, ‘yung nagko-cover kami. Tapos, bigla na lang kami tumigil. Ang last cover namin, parang that was 2022 pa,” he recalled.</p><p>Jireh added how they ultimately decided for this creative shift.</p><p>“It was a decision of the band talaga. Nag-meeting kami na parang ‘Will we take the route na, okay, nagko-covers tayo, may views tayo, andyan ‘yung tao, or take the route of doing the originals and focusing on that, para dun naman kami mas lumabas?’ So, pag-decision na namin na parang mas bagay, parang mas gusto namin na ang feeling naman namin is ‘yung originals naman namin ‘yung naririnig ng tao,” Jired shared.</p><p>He went on to share how fulfilling it is to hear their supporters sing along to the lyrics of their original songs.</p><p>“So far, parang kita naman namin na ngayon, kunwari sa mga show, sa mga kung saan-saan, naririnig ko na ‘yung mga tao na parang ang sinisigaw na nila ‘yung mga originals namin, ‘yung, kunyari ‘yung ‘Kaya pa ba? Ipaglalaban pa ba?’ Pero meron pa rin mga nagsisigaw ng mga kinover namin, syempre. Pero nakakatuwa lang sa feeling na uy, may nakakaalam na pala ng mga originals,” the band’s frontman said.</p><p>Meanwhile, he also teased what fans can expect from the band moving forward.</p><p>“Meron kami mga paparating siguro ng mga songs. Pero ngayon, busy kami sa mga kanya-kanya namin personal lives muna. So, pero gagawa naman kami soon. Dahil maraming pang mga naka-in line na mga kanta,” he mentioned.</p>
