<p>ABS-CBN’s music label StarPop officially welcomed nine up-and-coming singers earlier this month at the StarPop Ink Drop 2025 held at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater. This lineup by the music label will serve as the new voices of the new gen in the years to come. </p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FPushAlerts%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02JVC1qnP5imTc8avewN6rCNX7o6oRg6b36qchd4XLXn4C64rD1gPwgTToSZc5X66dl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="754" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Annrain, Bryan Chong, Drei Sugay, Enzo Almario, Janah Zaplan, JEL REY, Justin Mclair, Kanishia Santos, and Misha De Leon are now all part of the StarPop family and will be recording new music soon.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2025/8/6/look-annrain-bryan-chong-drei-sugay-and-more-sign-with-abs-cbn-s-starpop-0812" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>READ: LOOK: Annrain, Bryan Chong, Drei Sugay, and More Sign with ABS-CBN’s StarPop</strong></a></div><p>Present at the contract signing for the nine new artists under StarPop were ABS-CBN Music and Integrated Events head Roxy Liquigan, ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, StarPop label head Rox Santos, head of ABS-CBN’s music management group Abbey Aledo, and head of Polaris Reily Santiago.</p><p>“Ang major wish ng label is makilala sila kung sino sila as an artist, yung authenticity nila bilang artist. Gusto ko ma-establish yun… of course, we want them to be successful not just here in the Philippines through their hit songs, siyempre gusto rin namin na maka-penetrate sila globally,” the StarPop label head shared.</p><p>Five of the newly signed artists–– Annrain, Bryan, Drei, Enzo, and Misha–– were products of various ABS-CBN singing competitions. For Janah, JEL REY, and Justin, they were discovered through their music while Kanishia, who’s the younger sister of Kapamilya singer-actor LA Santos, is giving music a second chance through this comeback. </p><p>“Maraming salamat po… To my family, who serves as my inspiration–– that’s my mom, dad, and my brother–– sila yung nag pupush sa akin na to use my emotions into art. I’d also like to thank the whole StarPop family for always believing in me and also giving me a platform to show my talent,” Kanisha expressed.  </p><p>Check out the music of these newly minted StarPop artists on their music streaming platforms.
