<p>ABS-CBN Music&rsquo;s Jonathan Manalo has reached a new milestone in his career, becoming an official voting member of the prestigious Recording Academy, the body behind the Grammy Awards.</p><p>The multi-awarded Filipino music producer shared the news on Instagram on Friday, August 29.</p><p>&quot;Milestone Unlocked. I&rsquo;m so happy to share that I am now officially a voting member of the Recording Academy/GRAMMY Awards,&quot; he posted on Instagram.</p><p>Jonathan expressed his gratitude for the role, saying: &quot;Becoming part of the @RecordingAcademy&rsquo;s 2025 New Member Class is an incredible honor. I&rsquo;m humbled and excited to contribute my own perspective, and to champion music that connects, inspires, and moves the world,&quot; he stated.</p><p>Jonathan currently serves as the AVP and Head of Content, Creatives, and Operations at ABS-CBN Music, where he continues to shape the landscape of Filipino music and champion emerging talent.</p><p>His cultural contributions have earned him significant recognition over the years. He was named one of the &ldquo;Ten Outstanding Music Artists&rdquo; of the 2010s by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and, in 2023, was honored with the Gawad Pio Valenzuela Award for his impact as a songwriter and music producer.</p><p>In a previous interview with<em>&nbsp;Billboard Philippines</em>, Jonathan reflected on his journey in the industry.</p><p>&ldquo;Honestly, I never imagined I&rsquo;d reach this level of success. The journey hasn&rsquo;t been easy&mdash;the grind is real, and the hard work is tougher than people might think. Doing the work, paying the dues, showing up every single day&mdash;that&rsquo;s what I committed to, even when I had no idea what the outcome would be,&rdquo; he remarked.</p><p>&rdquo;No one can really predict where the path will lead, but what&rsquo;s certain is you have to do what you need to do if you want to get somewhere,&rdquo; he shared. &ldquo;And now, seeing the milestones I&rsquo;ve recently achieved, I&rsquo;m just overwhelmed and grateful. It&rsquo;s been a long road, but every step mattered.&rdquo;</p>
