ICYMI: BINI joins e-trike karaoke challenge singing ‘Call Me Maybe,’ ‘Shagidi’

<p>Nation’s girl group BINI is the latest Filipino act to hop on the popular E-Trike Karaoke challenge with content creator Alanna Malicdem during their BINIverse World Tour stop in Los Angeles.</p><p>In a video shared on E-Trike Karaoke’s social media pages, the eight-member girl group proudly introduced themselves as representatives of the Philippines and shared their current favorite songs.</p><p>For the first half of the group, Sheena named Ariana Grande’s “Imagine” as her favorite, Maloi chose “Mahal Kita” by Cinderella, Gwen picked “Blue” by Billie Eilish, and Aiah went with “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17547066504851754706689499.png" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Meanwhile, Jhoanna revealed she’s currently listening to “Multo” by Cup of Joe, Colet chose “Lullaby” by Arthur Nery, Mikha said “Constant” by Jesse Barrera and Jeremy Passion, and Stacey picked “Gnarly” by KATSEYE.</p><p>When asked to rate their karaoke skills, the first half of the group confidently gave themselves a perfect score, saying they often sing together with friends. Mikha then said it would be Dua Lipa while Stacey said Tate McRae. Aiah picked Taylor Swift. Gwen then chose TJ Monterde while Maloi said Sabrina Carpenter. I love these eight genuine ladies. I also love that Jhoanna tried driving the E-Trike, I know she enjoyed it and Colet definitely embraced her role as the passenger princess, haha. I&#x27;m so proud of these talented and humble girls. The video unleashed the girls hiphop and charismatic side as they mimic the Filipino game “Shagidi Shagidi” in a skate park.</p><p>In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the girls are hopeful that “Shagidi” will evoke Filipino pride in listeners around the world in time for the country’s Buwan ng Wika celebration.</p>
