<p>Singer-songwriter Maki released his much-anticipated debut album &quot;KOLORCOASTER&quot; on Friday, September 19.</p><p>The 10-track record features his four previously released hit singles—“Dilaw,” “Namumula,” “Bughaw,” and “Kahel na Langit”—along with six new tracks: “Turning Green,” “INDIGO (with u),” “Nangungulila,” “Itim na Ulap,” “Abelyana,” and “ROYGBIV.”</p><p>In a previous interview with MJ Felipe in &quot;Are You G?&quot;, Maki explained that the album’s concept revolves around colors as it is by his love for the arts.</p><p>“I dug deeper sa kung ano ang gusto kong mangyari na mga next track tapos sabi ko sa sarili ko why not colors kasi mahilig naman ako sa arts? And I&#x27;m a huge advocate po sa mga Filipino artists as well na don&#x27;t have enough opportunities. Gusto ko po mabigyan sila ng spotlight as well sa album na &#x27;to. However, this time it conveys regret from someone who failed to realize that the grass was not greener on the other side.</p><p>Meanwhile, he shared that “INDIGO (with u)” symbolizes uncertainty, likening it to entering a tunnel without knowing what lies ahead.
