At the time, the group promoted with seven members, as Kai was fulfilling his mandatory military service and Chinese member Lay did not participate.</p><p>In September, the youngest member Sehun completed his military service — the last member to do so — clearing the way for a full-group comeback.</p><p>However, it was<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2025/10/27/exo-to-hold-fan-meeting-in-korea-drop-album-with-6-members-1635"><strong> later announced</strong></a> that for &quot;REVERXE,&quot; only Suho, Lay, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun would participate in the album, as Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin — who are currently under a different label — remain in a dispute with EXO&#x27;s home company, SM Entertainment.</p><p>The nine-track album is led by &quot;Crown,&quot; released with a fantasy-themed music video, which includes scenes of the members donning princely outfits in a ruined temple as lightning crashes around them.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BWfKkqo1Mk8?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div><p>The album also features <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2025/12/14/exo-marks-sentimental-return-with-i-m-home-1149"><strong>&quot;I&#x27;m Home,&quot;</strong></a> a winter ballad pre-released by the group in December, as well as &quot;Back It Up,&quot; which they debuted during their performance at the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/events/2025/12/21/g-dragon-jennie-claim-top-honors-at-2025-melon-music-awards-1440"><strong>Melon Music Awards</strong></a> the same month.</p><p>The album is intended to showcase EXO’s versatility, highlighting the group&#x27;s ability to perform multiple genres, the Korea Herald <a href="https://www.koreaherald.com/article/10658320"><strong>reported</strong></a>, citing a statement from SM Entertainment.</p><p>The group is also reportedly set to embark on a tour starting in April.</p><p>Launched in 2012, EXO is one of K-pop&#x27;s most popular boy bands, known for hits such as &quot;Growl,&quot; &quot;Monster,&quot; &quot;Ko Ko Bop,&quot; &quot;Love Shot&quot; and the viral winter track &quot;The First Snow.&quot; </p><p>Outside the group, the members have also built successful solo music careers, with some venturing into acting as well.</p><div><strong>FROM THE ARCHIVES</strong></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Z6GovB0WFr4?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><strong></strong><br/></div>
