BIGBANG to go on world tour for 20th anniversary

I would like to announce that BIGBANG&#x27;s global tour will kick off,&quot; he said.</p><p>A detailed schedule for the tour, including its kickoff date, has yet to be announced.</p><p>&quot;All the YG staff will give their absolute best effort to produce the most perfect and beautiful BIGBANG performance,&quot; Yang assured.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lewIsCDK0hE?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>The announcement comes ahead of BIGBANG&#x27;s performance at Coachella in April.</p><p>Currently composed of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, BIGBANG debuted in 2006 and went on to become one of the most influential and best-selling boy bands of its era, inspiring a new generation of idols with its edgy, hip-hop-infused sound.</p><p>BIGBANG&#x27;s notable singles include &quot;Lies,&quot; &quot;Haru Haru,&quot; &quot;Fantastic Baby,&quot; &quot;Bang Bang Bang&quot; and &quot;&quot;Fxxk It,&quot; among many other hits.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/08/19/21/k-pop-playback-15-years-of-bigbang"><strong>K-pop playback: The music of BIGBANG<br/></strong></a></div><p>The group&#x27;s most recent release was the single &quot;Still Life,&quot; which came out in April 2022. In 2024, however, G-Dragon put out the single &quot;Home Sweet Home,&quot; which featured his two bandmates though it was not credited as a BIGBANG track.</p><div><strong>Other groups</strong></div><p>Meanwhile, Yang also bared that girl group Babymonster would release an extended play (EP) titled &quot;Choom (Dance)&quot; in early May.</p><p>A pre-release single of the same title will be unveiled ahead of the EP, which will be fronted by a different &quot;powerful title track,&quot; Yang said.</p><p>Yang said he also hoped to release a full album for Babymonster &quot;around fall&quot; and that the group would embark on a world tour.</p><p>Boy group Treasure, meanwhile, is set to release a new EP in June, featuring hip-hop tracks created in response to the members&#x27; request, Yang said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/events/2025/10/22/treasure-s-pulse-on-in-manila-ticket-prices-seat-map-1556"><strong>Treasure&#x27;s &#x27;Pulse On&#x27; in Manila: Ticket prices, seat map<br/></strong></a></div><p>Treasure&#x27;s sub-unit T5 will also return this year, while its rapper trio composed of Choi Hyun-suk, Haruto and Yoshi will debut under a new unit name.</p><p>The boy group will also kick off a new world tour next year, Yang said.</p><p>YG is also scheduled to debut a new boy group this fall and reveal the remaining two members of its upcoming four-piece girl group, according to the video.</p><p>Yang was a member of the influential 1990s Korean group Seo Taiji and Boys before going on to establish YG Entertainment, which has produced some of K-pop’s most popular acts, including 2NE1, Winner, iKON and Blackpink.</p>
