Spotify's 'The Come Up' series features BINI's global rise

<p>MANILA --  Spotify is giving spotlight to the global rise of the Nation&#x27;s Girl Group BINI through its series &quot;The Come Up,&quot; which traces key milestones in an artist’s growth on the platform. </p><p>This marks another milestone for BINI as the first Southeast Asian act included in the series, alongside global artists such as KATSEYE, Olivia Dean, and sombr. </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1778823243513image001.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-dragging" width="960"/></div><div><br/></div><p>BINI brings a distinctly P-pop story where in the last week of April alone, the group&#x27;s daily streams grew 2.5 times in a single day.</p><p>Even before their official debut, &quot;Da Coconut Nut&quot; was already reaching listeners on Spotify. </p><p>&quot;Lagi&quot; landed them on the cover of Spotify’s P-Pop On The Rise, opening their music to new audiences through playlist discovery. </p><p>&quot;Pantropiko&quot; gained traction from Viral Hits Philippines before moving to Hot Hits Philippines. Their feel-good track &quot;Salamin, Salamin&quot; and diary-inspired EP &quot;Talaarawan&quot; took over Tatak Pinoy.</p><p>Spotify backed BINI as early as 2022, when the group joined RADAR Philippines, the streamer&#x27;s global music program for emerging artists. BINI returned in 2023 and 2024 as their audience grew beyond the Philippines.</p><p>Alongside their music, Podcast Ng Mga Walang Jowa, exclusively on Spotify, gave Blooms a closer look at the group, deepening the connection with fans at home as their profile grew globally.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1778823362029image002.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>As BINI’s popularity surged locally, their music also began finding audiences outside the Philippines. &quot;Cherry On Top,&quot; their first global single, also reached Spotify playlists across Southeast Asia, the US, Canada, and the UAE.</p><p>“We’ve grown so much over the years because of everyone who has supported us, from our Blooms who’ve been with us since day one to listeners who are hearing our music for the first time. Every stream and every connection means so much to us. Spotify has been a huge part of that journey, giving us a space to stay connected with listeners wherever they are while giving us a platform to share more of Filipino music with the world,” BINI said in a press release Friday. </p>
