<p>XONARA, composed of Eureka, Megumi, Dominique, Tin, Namie, Ella, and Lei, officially debuted through a successful launch event in the historic streets of Escolta, Manila.</p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong></a> had the chance to exclusively speak with the girls, where they got real about the pressure of being 1Z Entertainment’s first girl group.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1779153711437XONARA welcomes pressure as 1Z Entertainment’s first girl group.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><p>“First of all, we&#x27;re also grateful that we have this pressure of meeting these kinds of expectations. But you know, rather than looking at it as a bad pressure po, we actually see it as a motivation to show up and do our best, train harder, and become a better version of ourselves, both as a person and an artist. So, I&#x27;m very thankful for this kind of pressure because namo-motivate po talaga kami to work harder and show a good performance for everyone,” Dominique expressed.</p><p>They also shared their thoughts on being regarded by some as “SB19’s sister group.”</p><p>“Actually sobrang inspired po kami with our kuyas SB19 kasi siyempre, pinapangarap lang po namin ito dati. But sa P-pop, we want people na makita kami as XONARA. And XONARA is us, the seven of us. And gusto po namin ma-contribute is our art itself,” Eureka explained.</p><p>Dominique continued to acknowledge the standard that P-pop supergroup SB19 has set in the industry, while also expressing the group’s desire to establish their own identity.</p><p>“Siguro po, nakaka-pressure talaga because of the standard SB19 started in this industry. And under being 1Z, there&#x27;s this motto of breaking the norm. So as XONARA, we welcome this kind of pressure to do our best. And of course, to separate our identity to SB19. Like, super di namin in-expect na grabe po yung love na matatanggap namin as early as now. Kaya we&#x27;re super thankful po sa lahat.
