We leave. We meet again.&quot;</p><p>Ahead of the EP&#x27;s release, the group unveiled &quot;Goodbye With A Smile,&quot; a song recorded in 2016 and produced by former B1A4 member-turned-actor Jung Jinyoung.</p><p>Only nine of the group&#x27;s original 11 members — Lim Nayoung, Kim Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Sohye, Yoo Yeonjung, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon and Jeon Somi — participated in the comeback.</p><p>Kang Mina, who recently starred in the Netflix horror series &quot;If Wishes Could Kill,&quot; was unable to join the reunion due to acting commitments, while Chinese member Zhou Jieqiong has also been focusing on her acting career in her home country.</p><p>The group is set to hold a three-day concert in Seoul later this month before bringing the show to Bangkok and Hong Kong in June.</p><p>I.O.I, which stands for Ideal of Idol, was formed in 2016 through the first season of the K-pop competition program &quot;Produce 101.&quot;</p><p>The group, whose singles include &quot;Dream Girls&quot; and &quot;Very Very Very,&quot; debuted in May 2016 before disbanding in January of the following year.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/4/8/i-o-i-wanna-one-return-what-to-know-about-these-k-pop-reunions-1426"><strong>I.O.I, Wanna One return: What to know about these K-pop reunions<br/></strong></a></div><p>Despite their brief promotional period, I.O.I achieved significant success in K-pop, securing endorsements and television appearances, and winning Best New Artist (Female Group) at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016.</p><p>Following the group&#x27;s disbandment, many of the members went on to debut in other groups, most of which have since disbanded or become inactive.
