K-pop: AND2BLE debuts as Alpha Drive One drops single

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/177978134386100 7.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">AND2BLE (top) and Alpha Drive One. <em>Photos from groups&#x27; X accounts</em></span></span></span></div><p>Fans of the K-pop competition program &quot;Boys Planet&quot; were in for a treat on Tuesday, as AND2BLE made its debut while fellow boy group Alpha Drive One had its first-ever comeback.</p><p>AND2BLE, launched by YH Entertainment, is a five-member group composed entirely of contestants from the first season of &quot;Boys Planet&quot; in 2023.</p><p>Four of its members — Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin — previously debuted in the program&#x27;s winning group ZEROBASEONE before departing earlier this year.</p><p>They are joined by Yoo Seung-eon, who also competed on the show and later promoted with EVNNE, a spin-off group made up of contestants who did not make the program&#x27;s winning lineup.</p><p>For their debut, AND2BLE — pronounced &quot;and double&quot; — released the five-track extended play (EP) &quot;Sequence 01: Curiosity,&quot; led by the single &quot;Curious.&quot;</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/m6kmpiOsLVk?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>Their debut comes about a week after <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/5/18/taeyang-taeyong-itzy-among-k-pop-acts-dropping-new-music-may-18-0800"><strong>ZEROBASEONE made a comeback </strong></a>with its EP &quot;Ascend-,&quot; its first release after the group became a quintet following the departure of the four YH talents.</p><p>ZEROBASEONE has been among K-pop&#x27;s most commercially successful male acts in recent years, with its debut EP &quot;Youth in the Shade&quot; <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/3/28/seventeen-tops-k-pop-dominated-ifpi-album-sales-chart-in-2023-1840"><strong>ranking 11th</strong></a> on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry&#x27;s list of best-selling albums worldwide in 2023.</p><p>Meanwhile, Alpha Drive One, the boy band formed through &quot;Boys II Planet&quot; in 2025, also unveiled the single album &quot;No School Tomorrow,&quot; led by the track &quot;OMG!&quot;.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cBfYIb1w1iw?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>&quot;No School Tomorrow&quot; marks the group&#x27;s first release since they<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/1/12/alpha-drive-one-from-boys-ii-planet-debuts-with-euphoria-1802"><strong> debuted in January </strong></a>with the EP &quot;Euphoria.&quot;</p><p>However, only seven members are currently promoting the single after Geonwoo was placed on indefinite suspension following a &quot;hot mic&quot; incident.</p><p>According to reports, Geonwoo had used inappropriate language to express dissatisfaction during a video shoot prior to the group&#x27;s debut, apparently unaware that his microphone was still on.</p><p>&quot;Boys Planet&quot; is the latest popular survival program created by the Korean music channel Mnet, in which numerous trainees compete for a chance to become members of an idol group.</p><p>It bears similarities to the successful &quot;Produce 101&quot; franchise, which aired for four seasons on Mnet before being embroiled in a vote manipulation controversy.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/4/8/i-o-i-wanna-one-return-what-to-know-about-these-k-pop-reunions-1426"><strong>I.O.I, Wanna One return: What to know about these K-pop reunions<br/></strong></a></div>
