Hindi ko po makakalimutan na nakapag-duet ako kay Sir Erik. Isa po sa mga sinabi niya sa akin noon ay makikita niya ako sa ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan.’ Kaya thank you, Lord, na natupad na ang pangarap ko. Siyempre, hindi rin namin kinakalimutan yung lolo at lola namin,” he said.He outperformed fellow grand finalists Charlie Palalisan and Jeanel Silvestre, who placed second and third with scores of 97.1% and 95.1%, respectively, in a tightly contested final showdown.This season’s grand finals featured an all-star panel of hurados composed of Darren Espanto, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Klarisse de Guzman, Jed Madela, Marielle Montellano, Nyoy Volante, Bituin Escalante, Jonathan Manalo, Kyla, JM Yosures, and Ogie Alcasid, who evaluated the finalists’ performances.As Season 10 champion, Basical took home a ₱1 million cash prize, a trophy designed by National Artist Toym Imao, a management contract from ABS-CBN, a recording contract under ABS-CBN Music, and two round-trip tickets to destinations in Asia, Australia, or the Middle East. Runner-up Charlie Palalisan received ₱200,000, while third placer Jeanel Silvestre took home ₱100,000. Other grand finalists Von Keirule, Will de Sosa, and Russian Ouano each received ₱20,000 for their participation in the finale.Meanwhile, “It’s Showtime” has also opened auditions for several of its popular competition segments. Aspiring contestants may audition for the new season of “Miss Q&amp;A,” which is open to participants aged 18 and above, while hopeful performers can also try out for “Magpasikat,” open to male contestants aged 16 to 25 who can sing, rap, and dance. Student singers aged 14 and above may likewise look forward to auditions for “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown,” with nationwide audition details set to be announced through the program’s official social media accounts.
