MANILA — Ashtine Olviga teased she has already started preparing for her solo concert “Love Like Ashtine” set to be held on August 22 at the New Frontier Theater, Quezon City.“Nag vo-vocalize ako everyday para ma-condition. May coach na din ako. Alam niya na weakness and strength ng voice ko,” she explained in an interview held during the 10th anniversary of Botejyu in Pasay City on Friday.“Mentally, kini-keep ko lang heart ko excited para mas magpursigi mag-ensayo. Physically, I have been walking everyday.”The actress also revealed she underwent a procedure recently to improve her eyesight.“Parang nagpa-eye surgery ako. Kasama sa preparations ko. Dati kasi sa mga fanmeet, nahihirapan ako magbasa ng prompter,” she shared.*Olviga added she has also been actively involved in planning the concert, from conceptualizing the show to helping choose the songs for the set.“Na-excite ako kasi narinig ko na mga music na gagamitin namin sa concert,” she said.“Actually, binigyan ako ng karapatan mag decide ng songs na gagamitin. Nire-respect po nila mga suggestions ko.”
