Indonesian-American singer lullaboy is set to return to the Philippines on July 17 at Teatrino Promenade for the ‘hotels &amp; heartbreaks’ Asia tour. In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, lullaboy opened up about the personal inspirations behind the ‘hotels &amp; heartbreaks’ tour and the album.“It’s actually really lonely sometimes, when you’re doing this journey of being a musician and chasing that dream. I always tell the fans to chase their dreams, but if you do it alone without focusing on what really matters in life, which, spoiler alert, it&#x27;s love, then you lose the plot. “Thankfully, I had this album in the form of these songs like my diary that I get to share with people,” he added. ‘Hotels &amp; heartbreaks’ was released in February, and lullaboy is currently in the process of preparing for the 9-stop Asia tour which is set to kick off in July. <div> </div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/events/2026/4/24/lullaboy-sets-manila-return-as-part-of-asia-tour-1134">READ: lullaboy sets Manila return as part of Asia tour</a></div><div> </div>On what it means to present the ‘hotels &amp; heartbreaks’ album on stage, lullaboy said that he is looking forward to performing some of the songs in front of a crowd for the first time. When asked about what it was like to prepare for the tour, lullaboy expressed his excitement to be able to share his songs with his fans.“It’s been such a crazy journey to put this album out and now planning the tour, which is kinda the completion of the album. We get to finally play these songs to the fans that went on this journey with me.”Lullaboy then opened up about how he had spent the past year working as an independent artist to realize his wishes to go on tour, after feeling like it wasn’t possible with his previous label. Lullaboy emphasized the mental, physical, and spiritual preparation for his performances and expressed his gratitude towards his team. “It takes a whole village to put a tour together. It takes so much planning and so much hard work, so I really wanna give all the flowers to my team who do an incredible job.”The singer admits he is most excited to perform his classics like ‘shortcut to heaven,’ ‘life with u,’ and ‘someone like u.’ Lullaboy also confirmed that he will be performing an unreleased song during the tour, which he will tease as the tour dates draw closer.He also revealed that the ‘hotels &amp; heartbreaks’ Asia tour will feature a live band, saying “I think the last time I came to the Philippines I actually came just with my DJ Kraviz, but this time I’m bringing a band with me, and so it’s gonna be a different vibe.”On what it meant to be performing in front of his Filipino audience again, lullaboy shared that he keeps a box in his studio of gifts from his Filipino fans. Inside, he showed an array of letters, a magnet from the Philippines, and a sticker of the artist made by a fan. “Filipino fans are just so loving, they always give me a lot of gifts,” he said.On what the fans can expect from the tour, lullaboy candidly expressed that he is constantly wanting to do more. &quot;We have these little goodies that we want to give to the fans, everyone who comes to the show. I want them to go home, taking home something even if they don’t have the money to be able to buy merchandise.”Lullaboy also shared a few messages for his fans coming to see him in Manila.“I’m so excited to get to share this night with you guys, and really, we can sing our hearts out. We can cry, we can laugh, and I want it to be a core memory for everyone.”He then ended his message with, “Don’t be shy. Let’s make sure we give it our all that night, and I think we’re gonna feel something really special at that venue.”
